First Aid Level 2 – Intermediary First Aid Course
Course Description: Adding to what is taught in Level 1; the First Aid Level 2 Course is an intermediate course in first aid teaching the learner to perform more advanced first aid procedures as may be necessary in a factory or workplace.
Duration: 3 Days
Entry Requirements: First Aid Level 1
Learning Objectives: The Department of Labour prescribes that the learner should have the following knowledge and practical skills at the end of the course:
- Recognise life-threatening situations
- Offer vital assistance before more experienced help arrives
- Provide single-person CPR on an adult, child and baby
- Perform as a workplace first aid person, as described in the guidance notes published by the Department of Labour
Additional Requirements: We include a light lunch with this course. Certificate should be renewed every 3 years.
Accreditation: Department of Labour Partner Accreditation.
