Refresher Course: Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities – STCW A-VI/1-4
Course Description: Social behaviour and survival as an individual and/or group. Vessels are small platforms with a lot of different people from varying backgrounds cramped into one space. Learners need to be taught how to behave, and how to deal with different scenarios found on-board modern ships, oil rigs and the like. As an Off-Shore employee you have a responsibility to look after yourself, and to ensure that you are ready to operate in a group during emergencies.

Additional Requirements: Bring a change of old clothes and shoes, with a towel. We include a light lunch with this course. Certificate should be renewed every 5 years.
Accreditation: Accreditation through SAMSA. STCW 78 as amended in 2010 with the Manila amendments.
