Course Description: This course is one of the practical workshop skills courses required by STCW or STCW-F counting towards your Engineering qualification at sea.
This course familiarizes the learner with the diverse electrical components and currents of varying voltages commonly found at sea. Ships operate as intricate environments heavily dependent on electrical systems, components, and equipment to ensure functionality. As an engineer, proficiency in repairing and maintaining such systems is crucial for fulfilling responsibilities at sea. This course comprehensively imparts the necessary skills essential for performing these duties effectively.
This is a practical course that we offer in our workshops to impart practical skills to deal with various scenarios onboard your vessel in preparation for your seagoing Engineering qualification.
