Hydraulic systems play a significant role in the operation of any vessel. This course provides an overview of the fundamentals and setup of hydraulic systems, elucidating their integration with other onboard systems. Troubleshooting and maintenance are crucial aspects covered in this course.

The Pneumatic and Hydraulic course is seamlessly integrated and offered as a continuous program. While hydraulics operate with fluids, pneumatic systems utilize compressed air, serving as an equally vital system in vessels’ operations. This course delivers an overview of the basics and configuration of pneumatic systems, highlighting their integration with other onboard systems. Troubleshooting and maintenance are essential components addressed within this course.

In our Diesel workshop, there are a variety of different engine brands along with an abundance of equipment and parts. Throughout this class, students will move between stations, acquiring skills in maintenance, disassembly, servicing, fault diagnosis, and proper assembly of the different components of Diesel Engines.

In Welding, every participant is assigned their own practice station, where the instructor personally teaches Arc Welding, Brazing, Gas Cutting, Grinding, and other forms of hot work necessary for executing emergency repairs aboard the vessel.

The Sheet Metal and Pipe classroom provides learners with comprehensive guidance to understand and construct various forms of ducting from sheet metal and pipe configurations, essential for typical onboard requirements. Our facilitators will impart trade secrets to assist you in crafting necessary structures using sheet metal and pipes.

This course thoroughly explores the fundamentals of different refrigeration systems, including refrigerants and system components. Refrigeration systems are essential for ships, not just for preserving food but also for maintaining the integrity of transported cargo. By taking this course, engineers will gain extensive knowledge of refrigeration systems and learn effective troubleshooting techniques for identifying and resolving faults.

Emphasizing Basic Workshop Safety remains a top priority, guaranteeing the safe completion of tasks within workshops.
