Crowd Management and Passenger Safety – STCW A/V2-1 & 2

Course Description: Crowd Management Training provides learners with the skills to be able to control a crowd in emergency situations on board, locate essential safety equipment and to communicate effectively with passengers to assist them on their way to the muster station. They will need to demonstrate the use of safety and emergency equipment and comply with the ship’s safety procedures.
Overall the learner will be taught to handle crowds in emergency situations while still understanding and following the ship’s procedures and to carry out their designated duties. This course will involve demonstrations and role playing to give the students a feel for what might happen.
