Our Deck Cadets Course provides you with comprehensive grounding and skills for a career at sea

Course Description: Engineering Officers are responsible for the operation and maintaining the propulsion plants and support systems on board vessels. The Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch (EOW)candidates will be expected to be able to monitor the engine and mechanical systems on board a ship and assist with general repairs. This program will prepare the learner for his/her Cadetship to obtain the sea service component and eventually qualify as a EOW and sail as a 4th or 3rd Engineer on foreign going vessels.

Duration: Subjects at SSTG ± 4 Months / Workshop Training ± 6 Months at TVET / Ancillary courses ± 30 Days at SSTG
