Galley Operations & Food Safety – Package
Your Journey. Your Growth. Your Future at Sea
Why This Career?
Industry Gap
Cruise ship galleys serve 10,000–30,000 meals daily under strict HACCP and maritime safety regulations. Few culinary programs teach volume catering alongside shipboard safety. This package does both.
The Crossover Advantage
You don’t just learn to cook — you learn to manage galley safety, supervise food hygiene, control portions, and minimise waste in a confined maritime environment. That’s four skills in one certification.
The Lifestyle
Master the art of feeding thousands efficiently. Work with international culinary teams in state-of-the-art shipboard galleys.
Security
Food safety supervisors and galley operations staff are mandatory on all passenger vessels. HACCP Level 2/3 is non-negotiable for promotion beyond entry-level.
