ETO Workshops – SAMSA STCW Electro-Technical Officer Workshop Skills Training
Course Description: The ETO Workshops – SAMSA STCW programme provides learners with the practical workshop skills required to perform the duties of an Electro-Technical Officer onboard ships. The course focuses on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of marine electrical, electronic, and automation systems.
It is designed in accordance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and is recognised by the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA). The programme combines hands-on workshop training with industry-standard practices to prepare learners for shipboard operations.
