STCW Workshop Training: Fitting and Machining

Course Description: This course is one of the practical workshop skills courses required by STCW or STCW-F counting towards your Engineering qualification at sea.

As proficient engineers, Fitting and Machining play a crucial role in enabling engineers to maintain and repair equipment. This course provides hands-on experience with dial milling machines, along with center lathes, covering basic turning as well as more advanced topics like threading to equip you for the specialized tasks needed onboard ships during equipment breakdowns when replacement parts are unavailable.

This is a practical course that we offer in our workshops to impart practical skills to deal with various scenarios onboard your vessel in preparation for your seagoing Engineering qualification.

IMPORTANT: Prices DO NOT include Personal Protective Equipment and Food when on course. These services can be provided at an additional charge.
